Here's what everyone said about the NBA 05'. Now 06' in Houston will be one of the best ones yet. Packages coming soon!
Parties as a whole were definitely dunk! There were many more mature events that were very nice. The Magic Johnson fashion show, the Converse presence, the Pub's, Sports Bars. Mile High Station, but everything else I attended was not all that, or there were just tons of blonde women trying to latch onto a brother or baller, whichever came first.
I enjoyed Denver as a whole just to visit and how beautiful it was at night downtown, but Denver was nothing in comparison to L.A., Atlanta, or D.C. That's for sure.
But, I am a basketball fan. Now if you talking about the games, oh yeah, I had a magnificent time. I would have just liked to see more African Americans there. -Nikki _______________________________________________
This is a good follow-up. You guys are on the ball! Unfortunately I did not go because my so called friends did not follow thru. But please keep sending me emails and I will show up. -Doc Love ___________________________________
It was WHACK! I live in Denver so I really expected it to be off the chain. I mean $500 to get into a club is a little too much. Don't get me wrong I will spend money, but when the guests won't even come and sign autographs, take pictures, or mingle with the partygoers it is not worth it. -Talisha

Let me say you guys are an amazin gig, my numero uno source of interests. Unfortunately, I did not make it to Denver. _____________________________________________ I was the production company that did Dennis Rodman's event. The crew at Bash was the bomb. They were fabulous. The city, blocking downtown streets, and the negatives from the city.....sucked. What can we say about a city hosting the NBA All Star Weekend, and for the half time show, they have country music performers?????????? For the NBA, and for the Urban market?????? TC SFERRA DENVER SUCKED. _______________________________________ Denver is the lamest city in the world. It was not a good time in Denver. -KM

Weak...weakend!! Dan ___________________________________ Ok so, how did it go? How was the NBA All-Star Weekend?
Was it what you thought it should be? It was not what I thought it would be at all... What did you think of Denver? I loved Denver How about the parties? The parties were overrated... Not enough Star appearances were they crunk or dunk? Parties were drunk and too expensive for no one to appear.. We want to know what you think about us as well! Did we provide you with enough details about the event? Yes for what you were prob given... Did we make great choices in terms of hotels, meaning did we tell it like it was, regarding, Yes... -Nichole ______________________________________________________ ALL STAR WEEKEND WAS THE BIGGEST WASTE OF TIME, ENERGY AND MONEY THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN!! WHAT A TERRIBLE WEEKEND! SUCH A SHAME! :( IT WAS REALLY A JOKEEEE! -Love Tall BM ______________________________________________________________________
It was ok.
Denver was horrible it was like a hick town.
It was too many different ghetto parties when it was in LA it was way more upscale even P Diddy's party was wack.
The places were really hard to get to and I was in a rental.
I wish it was more catering to us there wasn't any valet parking the drinks were way over priced and we already was paying over 100 dollars to get in the party.
I did take a few pics but I don't feel like it was worth it. -Watkins ____________________________________________________ It was on point, I'm from Florida so I have a hard time finding something to do 'round here but that Winter White Bash was crunk and I got drunk. so holla back.
P.S. It was a dude walking around taking pictures in the Grand Ball Room he got like 3 good one of me, can yall post tem too? -S. Davis ______________________________________________________ The weekend was not what I expected. I was disappointed. I was sent info about two parties. Both taking place at the Embassy Suites. Saturday night was the main party I guess with ?uestlove on the 1's and 2's. The Sunday night party was HORRIBLE! I paid for an advance VIP ticket. When I got to the hotel there was no VIP. Everything was in one room and cost $20.00. I lost $40.00 by purchasing an advance ticket, DJ Jazzy Jeff did not DJ and there were only 10 people in the whole party(including the dj). It was wack! -Menifee __________________________________________________________ it was alright... It was not what i thought it should be, but that all had to do with the location of the parties I went to. Denver is beautiful! The air smelled good!!! I'm looking forward to Houston baby! -Channon ___________________________________________________________
The NBA all-star weekend was off the chain it cas poppin. It was what i thought and more people than i thought tho. Denver was cruck during the all-star weekend and the parties was off the chain they were crunk. -Latoya. ______________________________
I am actually from Denver so my experience was much different than everyone elseメs. What I have to say is Wow what a weekend. This was the first All-Star weekend I ever attended and it was non stop fun. I really didn't like that some of the parties cost so much which wouldn't have been a problem if the Dj (Kay Slay) that was supposed to perform would have, instead we got a local Dj I could have seen on any Friday night for $10 bucks. But the welcome to Denver Jermain Dupri party was off the chain. Kid Capri put on one of the best shows I've ever seen. He has truly gained a fan for life. And rather than try to hit up one of the exclusive Diddy parties that everyone said was whack on Sunday anyway I had the privilege of seeing Jill Scott. The parties, the concerts, the after-hours.....What a blast! Thanks everyone for supporting Denver this year and making this years All Star weekend one of the safest and most fun. My Pics are definitely on there way. -Kandie _________________________________________________
It was okay. Denver did not have it going down. The All Star game was hot. The All Star had been a big happening event 'til it hit lame azz Denver. The parties were okay, nothing to brag on for year's to come. A lot of Promoter's seem to got in over there heads. (reallifeent). I got to go with dunk. I know a lot of promoters came down from these different states and was disappointed in the crowd they got. I know a lot of stuff we see online is not real. (reallifeent). I overall would give it a 5 out of 10. I think this site has a lot of information to give and It is a good thing yall not trying to sell folks on a dream. I used this site to keep up to speed and cross reference my information. You folk's did good and I will continue to check in and see what's poppin. -Lou
__________________________________________ It was fun but not as hyped as I thought it would be. Not like last year in LA. Iguess it wasn't too bad for Denver. The parties I went to were pretty crunk though. -Nicole ___________________________________________ It was all-right. Denver well it is not like a big city. I did not like how they let the celebs in parties and let those who bought tickets stand in line and at the Shaq party we did not even get in. Thanks for all the info. -Mashanda _______________________________________________ Denver was not what I expected.......it seemed like "our" people didnメt show up...... -D. Denham........STL _______________________________________________ Denver was nice! It was the perfect location to meet the stars. I must admit that I met Nelly, J.D. Murphy Lee and Gabrielle Union, Cedric "the Entertainer", Ray Allen and Regina King and Oh Yeah Star Jones! That was the best weekend ever. I even have "mad" pictures of the stars! I was doing it BIG! -Shantee __________________________________________________ Hey there yeah the info that u provided me with was cool. However the lines were long as hell and all the clubs were tripping with expensive ass cover charges. But we still managed to enjoy ourselves overall. my fianc←' was somewhat disappointed with the dunk contest and the game itself, he felt as though the contestants and players wasnメt enthused as the players were in the past years. But I was glad just to b in the place to b.!!!!!!!!! we did take a few pictures however I gotta find the adaptor for the camera . as soon as I get it I will b sending the flicts. thanxz for everything and I will be keeping in touch wit cha. We are scheduled to go to mia to the spring bling and we gonna need the low on whatspoppin in and around town. be cool and thanxz for again.
mamma _____________________________________________________ Man I loved Denver the atmosphere, the city itself downtown had everything ESPN zone, restaurants, shopping.................all the events were hot the NBA jam session, the rookie challenge and the clubs were off the hook............well at least some I went to some parties promoted by glamour life and of course to the church it was hot! I can't wait for Houston next year! -Vince __________________________________________________________ The weekend was all I expected it to be. Thanks to whats poppinメ I received updates on all the parties and had a crunk time!! Denver really knows how to party!! -Shandra
