Ladies, definitely plan a trip with your girlfriends- leave the fellas at home & go down to New Orleans and have yourself a good time!! Plenty to see and do. Great food, great entertainment!!! No problems, no fights, just a really cool time. Fellas, plenty of women to look at 24/7- so you'll enjoy yourselves too! -Calimoka Even though I felt as though the City of New Orleans was a dirty place, especially downtown, the overall Essence Festival itself was excellent! This was my first time attending the Essence, I was impressed with all the performances. I must say Mary J. Blige-Isaac was my all time favorite! Thumbs up to the Essence! I'll be there next year!
